The Lottery in Babylon is a short story by Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges. He exerted a strong influence on the direction of literary fiction through his genre-bending metafictions and poetry. Borges was a founder of postmodernist literature, a movement in which literature distances itself from life situations in favour of reflection on the creative process and critical self-examination.

‘Ancient Book Design series’ 
Using my own drawings of ancient artefacts and imagery to create and develop a theme I designed a book series that brings to life a beautifully written story set in ancient Babylon. I tried to reflect the author’s vibrant and electrifying storytelling through my design compositions.
